Boston leads 1-0

After a first half where neither team led by more than 8 at any point, Boston led by 2. Then, Andrew Wiggins’ 12 points (20 pts, 5 reb) and 9 more by Steph Curry (34 pts, 7-14 3P, 5 ast, 5 reb) played key roles in a classic Golden State third quarter where they outscored Boston 38-24. From there, Boston came back in a fourth quarter where Al Horford had 11 points (26 pts, 6 reb total), including two of his six three-pointers while Jaylen Brown had 10 points and 5 assists (24 pts, 7 reb total). For the fourth quarter, Boston outscored Golden State 40-16 in the fourth quarter, made 75% of their 3-pointers, pulled down 64.7% of available rebounds, and only turned the ball over once. This is despite Jayson Tatum not scoring a single point during that quarter. For the game, Tatum only had 12 points on 3-17 shooting, but did contribute 12 assists. Derrick White had 21 points, hitting five of eight three-pointers. Klay Thompson had 15 for Golden State.
